The registration for the MNO 2016 day is free but mandatory.

Important information: You have to be identified in order to submit an abstract. If you already have an account on sciencesconf.org or on HAL, you just have to logon. Otherwise you have to create an account.

Instructions for abstract submission

It's possible to submit multiple abstracts from the same account. Abstracts can be submitted in French or in English.

Write your abstract:

Participants to the congress are invited to present their work by oral communication or poster. Abstract have to be submitted before March 18, 2016.

Submit your abstract: 

The abstract is limited to 500 words. Nor table, nor figure can be submitted.

Submission of abstract is only possible online. During submission you have to complete different tabs:

  1. Metadatas
    • Title (10 words maximum)
    • Type (oral communication / poster)
    • Topic (session choice)
  2. Author(s)
    • Add a new author (+) : only the speaker has to be mentioned in this section
    • Add a affiliation...
  3. File(s)
    • Only one supplementary datas (ex. pictures…) which illustrate the abstract.
  4. Overview
    • This tab allow you to preview your submission before submitting
  5. Don’t forget to click on the ****** link to end your submission.

Guidelines for poster presentations

Poster size: Vertical A0 (118.9 cm high and 84.1 cm large). The poster should be legible from at least 1.5 meter.

Poster should be mounted on the board in the main room.

During the poster session (coffee break of the afternoon) the presenting authors should be present in the poster area for free discussion.

Guidelines for talks

  • Oral presentations will be strictly limited to 15 minutes. A 5-minute period between presentations will accommodate questions, discussion, and introduction of the next speaker.
  • Files: communications have to be in PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx, .pps, .ppsx) or Portable Document Format (.pdf) format.
  • Uploading your presentation should be done preferentially once you register for the meeting upon your arrival. Please, bring your presentation on a Flash drive.
  • Please, be present in the conference room 15 min before the beginning of your session in order to have time to discuss with the session chair that will be in charge to introduce you.
